Question by krisviola1: Return to normal after chalazion?
My name is Kristen, I’m 17-years-old and in the past 4 months, I’ve had 2 large chalazions on both my left upper eyelid and my right upper eyeld. The chalazion on my right eyelid wasn’t as bad as the left one, and after 3 surgeries, it went away completely and now there is only a small wrinkle left on my eyelid. My left eyelid, however, still has a small bump left on it from the 3 removal surgeries. I wanted to know, what can I do besides opting for another surgery to remove the bump, and is it okay to wear my contacts in the meantime. I don’t believe my eyelid still has an infection, but I just wanted to be careful.
Here’s what my eyelids looked like before the surgeries
And here’s what they look like now
There’s not much of a noticable bump, but it’s big enough to scare me from wearing my contacts
i took the picture with a cellphone cam
there is no whitehead on the leftover bump. only skin.
